The Evaluation of PSA levels in Libyan Prostate Cancer Patients

Background: Prostate cancer is the second most frequent and fifth leading cause of death in men with higher prevalence developed countries. The use biomarkers for prostate can improve diagnosis clinical management patients. Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) widely used to screen there evidence that PSA testing reduces mortality. Objective: In this report we have studied relationship between Gleason score, age levels adenocarcinoma tissues from Libyan patients evaluate Materials methods: data was collected medical files 40 who underwent curative surgical prostatectomy or true cut biopsy at National Cancer Institute (NCI)-Misurata, Libya during 2016 2018. histopathological information included age, levels, score grade.
